Interactive Reading Notebook
Your Reading Notebook is a one stop location for ALL of your class work. Notes, in class assignments, study guides, vocabulary practice, reading response journals, graphic organizers, foldables, and active reading assignments are all examples of what will be found in your Reading Notebook.
The Reading Notebook will be used in class daily and will be collected every three weeks for a notebook check. Each assignment will be assessed and any missing assignments may be completed and turned in by the following Friday.
The Reading Notebook should be kept neat and organized. However, it is also your place to be creative; highlight important information, doodle in the margins, color code your notes, and add a style that is all your own.

Organization:It is important to keep your Reading Notebook organized and up-to-date. The easiest way to accomplish this is by maintaining a neat and current Table of Contents.
The Table of Contents will include the order in which each assignment was assigned, the title of the assignment, the date it was assigned, and the page number in the notebook on which the assignment appears. |
